Dear Parents,

Oh dear, it was sad to see the heavy rain this morning, as Key Stage One children arrived before their trip to Hartlepool Quay. It didn’t dampen their spirits as they were leaving. Hopefully they had a wonderful day!

Please find an order form with your newsletter. Summer uniforms may be worn after Easter. Please could I remind you that school shoes must be black. If you want your child to wear white sandals with summer dresses that is fine, but ensure they do not have heels, and support their feet. If shoes are unsuitable, we will not be able to allow them on some of our play equipment such as the activity zone.

God bless,

Mrs Johnson

Dear Parents,

We are feeling very sad about the news of St Peter’s College closure—the adjudicator did not uphold the appeal. Staff and pupils are in our prayers. You can read the judgement details on http://www.schoolsadjudicator.gov.uk/decision.cfm

We will now work hard towards the best transition possible for our Catholic pupils to attend the Sacred Heart school in Redcar, in the future.

On a different note, we are very proud of our eight talented children who worked with the Young Americans to produce an amazing and spectacular show on Wednesday Evening. Well done Sasha, Will, Harry, Tegan, Leah, Ebony and Emily!

God bless,

Mrs Johnson
